ITIN Assistant

At least two hours per week on Fridays during the hours of 9-3 will be spent assisting with the ITIN process. An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax processing number issued by the Internal Revenue Service. This number enables individuals to pay their taxes, even if they are not eligible to apply for a social security number. The intern will assist with answering phone calls, greeting participants and answering general questions about the process and the documentation needed to complete it. Spanish should be fairly fluent. Learn how to help new immigrants navigate our tax systems. This program occurs from January until April.
