Understanding Depression

For people struggling with depression and those who want to learn more

A Series of Educational Forums Being Held in Neighborhoods near You

Many of us have been affected by depression - as family members, caregivers, lay ministers, parish nurses, and friends - or through our own struggles. For an uplifting and instructional experience, come to these educational forums offered out in the neighborhood on Saturday mornings, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. from Apr. 14-May 5, 2007. All are welcome! Church membership is not required.

The series continues for four Saturdays, meeting at four different churches. The schedule and topic descriptions are listed below. Although intended as a series, the forums are designed so people can benefit from single forums if they cannot attend all four.

Registration

Advance registration for these free forums is encouraged (but not required) so we can plan accordingly. Same-day registration and refreshments will begin at 9:00 a.m. for each Saturday session.

For professionals, we will provide written objectives and a certificate of attendance for continuing education units (CEUs).
