In addition to providing referrals, La Conexion also provides basic services such as informal translation of letters or documents written in English, assistance creating resumes, and help making phone calls in English.

Connecting Resources
La Conexion Walk-in Referral Center

Many free or low-cost resources are available for the Latino community (such as legal assistance, English classes, medical insurance, employment help, affordable housing, and others), but many individuals never benefit from these services because of barriers such as language, fear or lack of information. Through our Walk-in Referral Center, La Conexion becomes the link between the resources and the community by providing information and helping individuals access the available resources.

Saturdays 11am-3pm

No Appointment is Needed

If an individual is unable to come during these hours, we encourage him/her to call and leave a message on our Spanish line: 612-708-9162. We will return these calls as soon as possible.
